Teen Participation Acknowledgment
Version 2026-10-v0.4 · Effective date: October 30, 2026 · Last updated: October 27, 2026
Teens read and agree to each point below with an unchecked checkbox at sign-up and whenever this acknowledgment changes. Ask your guardian or hello@taskteens.com if anything is unclear. This records your understanding — it is not a release of your legal rights.
- I am 14–17 and have a linked parent or legal guardian. I will give accurate information and won't use anyone else's account.
- I choose which jobs to apply for. TaskTeens doesn't give me a job or require me to accept one. The poster hires and pays me directly.
- My guardian can read job chat between me and posters. I won't agree to secret messages, surprise work, a changed address or an unapproved ride. I can always contact emergency services or authorities.
- I'll review the actual duties, tools, pay, hours, workplace and adults present with my guardian. My age and work permit may rule out a duty even if the job category is allowed.
- I get the exact address only after my guardian approves that specific job. Changes need a new approval.
- I can decline work or leave an unsafe situation without a TaskTeens penalty. Money I've earned is still owed. I don't have to collect proof before getting safe.
- I can report nonpayment, harassment, grooming or any other problem with Report, Get help or the nonpayment form. Private safety reports are handled separately from guardian-visible chat when that's needed for safety.
- TaskTeens provides no platform insurance and doesn't guarantee safety or payment. Badges describe only the checks they name.
- I am not giving up injury claims, wage rights, disaffirmance rights, the right to report, or any other right I can't lawfully give up. I am not agreeing to cover TaskTeens' or anyone else's legal costs.
